Temple Art — AI artworks by SUPPART users

A temple is not a shrine
A tera is Buddhist: mountain gate, main hall, tiled roofs, stone paving, sometimes a pagoda. A torii gate belongs to a Shinto shrine, not a temple, and mixing the two is immediately visible to Japanese viewers. Naming the gate and the roof tiles keeps a temple image on the Buddhist side.
The palette is wood, tile, moss
Temples run on a narrow range of colour — brown timber, grey tile, the green of moss and trees, white gravel. Vermilion and gold appear only on particular halls. That restraint is what reads as quiet, so pushing saturation turns a temple into a theme park.
Season carries the picture
Because the architecture does not change, the season becomes the subject: cherry blossom over the approach in spring, cicada glare in summer, maple and moss in autumn, snow on the roof in winter. Deciding season and time of day before describing the building produces a tighter image.
